Thrash4Life welcomes you to Mattersville

Tell me about it. And on top of all that I had to send on of my CY-14Cs back to Roland to be “re-flowed.” Believe it. Good thing is I’ve got a lot more control over my dbl bass drumming since June when I’ve returned to practicing regularly. I’ve done some demoing along the way, but I’m just not ready to settle on what I can deliver yet. On a 40-60 minute practice/recording session averaging 4 to 5 sessions a week, I can’t expect virtuosity, but I do know that I can get my playing (whether it be drums, guitar, bass, etc…) way cleaner and tighter. I keep telling myself that 3 years ago where I’m at now was scarcely a long term goal, so I do feel good about what I’ve accomplished so far. One could say that I’m working towards a personal “masterpiece.” That “masterpiece” being a degree of fluency and execution in my playing to be able to perform and record the songs I write with focused articulation and conviction. Well, it’s just past midnight. Time to start practicing!
